Curriculum
Graduated from the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, where he was involved in teaching activities, he has designed and managed projects both in Italy and abroad for both public and private clients. His operations focus on the enhancement of real estate assets, planning, design, and implementation of complex interventions and large-scale events, as well as the development of infrastructure and services for urban mobility. He is experienced in urban and territorial planning and redevelopment, restoration and renovation projects, and the creation of exhibition spaces and museums. He has successfully carried out projects involving the renovation and repurposing of urban areas, decommissioned military, hospital, and industrial sites, as well as various architectural structures. By combining multidisciplinary and managerial skills, from 2016 to 2023, he oversaw the enhancement of real estate assets at the ex Fiera di Roma and Nuova Fiera di Roma, also serving as the Chief Restructuring Officer of Investimenti SpA. From 2003 to 2008, he directed the valorization activities of the real estate assets of the Italian State. Between 1995 and 2001, he contributed to preparing the city of Rome for the Jubilee of the year 2000. From 1990 to 1995, he managed projects for the adaptation and redevelopment of areas in the historic center of Venice as part of a program to protect against high water levels. From 1986 to 1995, he engaged in cooperation activities with developing countries in Africa and South America on behalf of the Italian Government and the European Union. For many years, he has devoted special attention to the themes of development and physical and functional redevelopment of urban centers, as well as the implementation dynamics of complex projects. Until 2010, he was a founding partner of Re Asset Management Srl, a professional association specializing in the enhancement, development, and management of real estate assets. Until 2021, he was a founding partner of Nova Res Srl, which specializes in the regeneration of real estate owned by ecclesiastical entities. From 2015 to 2018, he served as a member of the National Board of Directors of A.N.C.S.A. (National Association of Historical and Artistic Centers), where he was responsible for the report “Historical Centers and the Future of the Country.”
